Happy Weekend Eve Eve

Almost late for work again today as the conglomerate-of-utter-uselessness that is known as Arriva have decided, not unlike Stagecoach, to let their buses just turn up when they like. To make matters worse, the idiot drivers will turn up late, no excuses, just sit there with a face like a dogs arse then fcuk about with their Metro paper or something, then make a move, thus making us all late for work. Low-lives

Slightly quieter day at work today interspersed with Skyrim talk making me want to jump on when I get home and do some 'Rimming (as Stu eloquently puts it) I think he's just got a dirty mind... - young 'uns ey?















Remainder of last night's bolognese for lunch at work, was even better than it was last night! No bread though, sad face.

At me Ma's for tea tonight, Dad's cooking something he's not made before - it's a surprise apparently! Never a dull culinary moment at the 'rents!

Had this bizarre mixed bean soup, was really tasty, cheers fella! Good luck to the people I work with, I'm humming already! Sorry guys

Back at my lovely warm flat tonight, my lovely big tv and my own bed. Loving me new(ish) pad now like, really feels like home now. Need to start looking at decorating soon though! Going carpet shopping this weekend for the boudoir!


Shopping online tonight for pots, pans & other kitchen stuff. Also bathroom tings like a towel rack & toilet roll holder, exciting times at Maison De Spartacus!!

In from me Ma's totally stuffed. Decided against a film tonight and instead set my PC up in the lounge so I can use the laptop dans le boudoir.Up here for thinking *points at own head

PC all set up in the lounge, just need a nice monitor/tv & I'm sorted. And must remember to hook it up to the sound system. Bosh

Happy Hump Day

Busy, busy, busy at work today, not a gripe of the day but an observation.

Linking in with a previous post, my disease has now spread via my boss, their bairn and now his wife.... uh-ohhh. Oops. suppose that's what I get for coming into work when I'm not well. In future, if I wake up with even a sniffle, I'm stopping off.

I'm enjoying doing this blog. Even if nobody reads the bugger I've mainly done this as an online diary anyway, so anyone reading it is a bonus, hopefully for them too haha.

I had a bit read thru last night and I had a bit of a chuckle!

Craig-cam it ain't but we're getting somewhere close.

Busy days require drugs. By drugs I mean legal ones, obtainable from work. Coffee people, we're talking coffee. Problem is, by this time of day (4:15pm) I'm climbing the walls, too, much caffeine....

Watched Rango, absolute cracker, loved it! Great nod to Fear & Loathing at the beginning of the film. In fact the whole film plays out a bit like an animated, trippy Hunter S Thompson escapade.

Watched Jonathon Woss & Tom Cruise interview then bed.

Stood between 2 charvas at the bus-stop this morning on my way to work. Both of them spitting on the floor of the bus-stop and they have the cheek to call me a dirty bastard for dropping me bait! Cheeky buggers

Admittedly it did hum a bit like hahaha - in your face charvas!

Feel in particularly great spirits today! It might be because I've managed to shred that awful disease. But unloaded it onto someone else. I do feel slightly guilty because my boss at work was sick on Friday and now his little girl's not well....

Was at a good friends tonight for tea, she made me Chorizo paella! Yummy!
Pre-food drink was a turbo-shandy, not had one of them bad boys for years! Reminds me of some messy times living in Jesmond!

A lethargic start to the day with brunch of bananas on toast sprinkled with sugar, of course, and a cuppa.

Was unsure of plans today but not heading over to Walker as my mate's decided to go furniture shopping! Been to Argos in town though as I always seem to have the urge/need to spend vouchers! Not paying their prices for video games... Nice to get out of the house though.

For tea, bacon sanger washed down with Douwe Egberts coffee mmm.

Bit of 'Band of Brothers' on Bluray then early night, school night and all.

Saturday 7th Jan

Late night on Full House Poker on Xbox Live (must remember on to enter one of the community tournaments!) so a gentle start to the day is in order!

Mixed grill was yummy apart from that Bacon Grill stuff which just tastes of greasy ham. I'm lovin' the Schwartz Spice Rack I got from my Mam & Dad for Xmas!

Still gutted I'm allergic to eggs though :o(

Tidying my bedroom after the renovating I discovered a box of old flyers and tickets from my hedonistic clubbing days of the early thru to late 90s - nostalgia. Hopefully get a pic up of my fave.

John popped over at lunchtime for a couple of beers and a catchup because, he said 'I've nothing better to do' - nice to know I come in handy sometimes! Must admit I did chuckle at John for forgetting what he was talking about while delivering a story on how he remembers stuff. Genius

New Youtube App on Xbox is quality as it means I can play my music through my home theatre system which is handy when I have company - Youtube on, beers open, kick back and relax. Queue Chase & Status in deafening 5.1 - mint! *sorry neighbours*

Watched Jimmy Carr's 'Being Funny' and although a little near the knuckle, the man's a comedic genius - he was washed down with further beers.

Rounded the night off with Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox till 4am, still loving the Riot Shield class.

I love my weekends, not because I don't like my job, I do, I just love being able to do whatever I want to do. But that's for tomorrow...

I'm back at work today, feeling not 100% but enough to be able to work and not have to spend most of the day worrying if I'm going to have an accident at my desk!

Still dare not eat anything tho just to be sure - damn I'm hungry.

On a lighter note I'm currently beating Jamie from work on Words With Friends, someone who normally kicks my arse! Check out my Twitter feed on the right because when I beat him, I'll make sure the world (my followers at least) gets to know!

Watched The Fighter today, starring Christian Bale & Mark Wahlberg - awesome film. Christian Bale acted everyone else in the film, off the screen!

Friday tomorrow, yay! The start of the weekend I just hope I'm well enough to have a little drinky!

Tuesday 3rd Jan

Awesome start back to work... was fine over Xmas & New Year then when I'm due back to work, the lurgy. The dreaded, buggering, lurgy. Attempted work but my arse spent more time on the throne than it did on my seat which to be fair is where it's paid to be sat.

Got sent home after an hour, the 'rents were away at my Grandad's so the lift was out of order, had to brave the bus for a second time. Made it home with clean pants (that'd be me Mam happy!)

On the plus side I get to look at the Xmas present I got from our kid, my framed Banksy-esq Monkey-Banana-Gun pic, awesome!

Would've put the Xbox on but even just thinking about it was making me feel dizzy, meh.

Happy New Year, happy new blog.

My resolution this year? To keep a blog or an online diary. I'm gonna have a stab. The format may change and so may the content. ~I may even listen to the comments from other people, if I get any.

After catching the blog-bug from my brother Steve, I've always wanted to do one. I think it gives an interesting insight into someone's world.

I'm not going to include stuff in this post from Xmas as that's just so last year...

I will however say I had a cracking night at The Cosmic Ballroom last night, it's all on my Facebook profile so I'll not post owt on here but thanks to all involved.
